Activities I enjoy when I'm not working at my real job include social naturism, darts, science fiction, motorcycles, Arctic Cat ATVs, and volksmarching. We've spent a lot of time since June of 1999 building our dream home, a 50' geodesic dome.
If you don't already know me, my geek code can give you a little bit of a clue as to what kind of person I am. If you don't know how to read geek code, I have it translated also. If you'd like to send me something you don't want others to read, you can use my PGP public key. If you're unfamiliar with PGP, we have a page devoted to Cryptography and Privacy Issues that can give you some information.
I consider myself to be somewhat anti-establishment. I don't think the overnment should be involved in any way with what consenting adults may do in private. If I have to label myself, I'd chose the label of Libertarian. Some of the topics that I find important are:
I have a copy of a saying about friends that you meet on-line
Humor is something I think that we need more of in the world. I've been collecting stories that I've found to be humorous to re-read on days that I'm feeling down. If you find urban legends to be humorous, I have information on a few of them or check out urbanlegends.com.
Some others on the net have had way too much time on their hands. How else can you explain The T.W.I.N.K.I.E.S. Project, Strawberry Pop-Tart Blow-Torches, and Fun with Grapes - A Case Study? The HotAIR pages have lists of all sorts of tidbits from the annals of improbable research such as these.
What web page could be without a grab-bag of pointers? I also have a handful of FAQs lying around. Be forewarned that I don't keep them up to date. These are here just so I can have a local copy. For those interested in webcams, I found The Ultimate Camera Page while surfing for weather conditions.
