I started with the Elm 2.4PL24 release and integrated support for PGP. It has support for keyring management, as well as having options when sending to sign, encrypt, or do both. Any email sent using PGP is sent with a content type of: "Content-Type: application/X-pgp-message". My changes to Elm will display an "E" on the index display for any emails with this content-type (E for encrypted, though it could also just be signed). This is similar to having an "M" displayed for metamail messages.
