National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Clock

If you want to now what the time is exactly, the NIST Time and Frequency Division thoughfully provides this information via a modem dial-up line. Call 1-303-494-4774. The current time will be displayed once per second for about three seconds and then they will hang up.

The source was originally written for the Amiga. The tar file contains auxillary programs of use on the Amiga. I can't vouch for them as I never bothered to port it to my Amiga.
